Uncurated is a series of exhibitions to showcase the ideas that excite us. Unbound by convention or preconceived notions on what art must be, this space serves as an experimentation ground for human curiosity of any shape and form.
The first exhibit of this series, ~ art gallery, presents an unconventional collection of paintings and installations in which mere observation is not advised. In a playful reimagining of the inherent passivity of traditional galleries, you are encouraged to interact with the display, and thus become inseperable to the gallery experience itself.
Our diverse approaches to audience involvement, brought to life with mechanics, sensors, and computer vision technology, seek to explore new ingredients that bring an unexpected twist to visual forms of art.

What if you could reposition a still life after it was painted? New life is breathed into the familiar inanimate subjects of Paul Cézanne’s Still Life with Apples and Pears (1891–1892).

Known for its striking depiction of urban solitude, Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks (1942) is here imbued with a new layer of atmospheric serenity. Even as the lighting shifts and the shadows sway, is the city relieved of loneliness, if only a little?

The familiar sight of birds on a power line may not invite an observer’s touch, but within this original video art installation the meaning of the strings shifts from voltage to music as the visuals and embedded interpretation clash and unite.

A submerged Vénus d'Arles (1st Century BC) adorns this monochrome tank, surrounded by fish of marble that flock around within its limits. Feed them as you wish, and witness the world come alive in colorful surprise.

There is but a simple painting behind a curtain. Inspired by The Scream (1893) by Edvard Munch; agony wishes to be hidden, until it is forced to reveal itself.

Despite the boundary being clear, creatures both outside and within the scene still manage to act upon each other by means of human imagination. These endearing encounters serve as a reminder of our impact on the spaces around us, imaginary or not.
