Slow Fest 2014
SLOW FEST is a day event of slow-living with activities and market stalls selling food and crafts, art and live music. This year, Bit Studio has a chance to bring our expertise to this concert. We were responsible for motion graphics on the stage and also the cone installation! We use a set of white strings and laser-cut acrylics to craft these cones. We strap the strings from the top of the cone to the bottom acrylic to create a see-through cone-line shape and attached an A/C motor to the base. Then, we use an ultra-short throw projector to project motion graphics onto the cone. When the cone is not spinning, the audience won’t see any graphics on the cone but when it does, it will work as a projection screen and the audience will see the motion graphics on it, which tells the story of each song that artists play.
