FLOCK OF

The globally acclaimed immersive installation 'FLOCK OF' has officially launched its homecoming exhibition at the newly established bit.studio gallery.

FLOCK OF is an immersive installation of soft robotic creatures, each with an electronic brain, floating through space like a living flock. Controlled by a central server, they move in sync, responding to real-time data from their environment. What begins as a playful, poetic scene gradually reveals itself as a living system that studies collective behavior and the unseen forces that shape movement, choice, and interaction.

Unlike typical machines, these entities are gentle, even endearing. You can walk among them, observe them up close, and experience a form of robotic life that feels organic, adaptive, and strangely familiar.

By transforming a school of fish into a flock of soft machines, FLOCK OF reimagines how we perceive intelligence and coordination. What is programmed, what emerges spontaneously, and how meaning forms in the space between.

At its core, the work explores the fluid, interconnected nature of existence. It encourages you to slow down, observe, and experience how machines can mirror the subtle patterns found in the natural world.

An original creation by bit.studio, the critically acclaimed showcase returns to Thailand following a successful globally tour. The exhibition has traveled to 14 cities across 11 countries, making significant cultural appearances in prominent art hubs including Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, and Greece.
